Can I ship a gift to my friend directly?

Absolutely! It is our favourite part of gifting! We make sure that sending gifts to your loved ones is stress-free and has seamless presentation – starting from beautiful packing tape, inserts and personal gift note you can fill in with your order. There is no price tags or packing slips inside the box – just the pretty gift with a personal gift note from you delivered right to your friend’s house. Make sure to fill in their delivery address during check out instead of just clicking through it with your autofill.

 

Can you remove the price and packing slip from the box? My box is being shipped directly to the recipient.

We never include any receipts or packing slips inside of our boxes, since most of our gifts are being shipped directly to the giftee. Items inside the gift box do not have any price tags.

 

What to do if my order arrives broken?

Oh no, that can be the worst and we hope it will never happen. Stunning presentation and seamless delivery is our priority, that’s why we really pack all our gifts very safely, but accidents can happen (even if it is very rare). In this case, we are here to fix it! Please send us an email at  myhandamdeweddingco@gmail.com with your order number and picture of the broken item and we will make sure your loved one will receive a replacement as soon as possible.

 

What to do if there is a mistake in my personalization?

Don’t worry! All the personalization you type in upon placing your order, we copy and paste to our design program – so there is no human error on our side. We also send out pictures of your personalized box to your email prior to shipping. Lastly, if any issue happens from our side, just let us know asap and we will make sure your giftee will receive a replacement.

If you haven’t already, please double-check spelling prior to checking out and mistake came from your side, we are happy to assist with re-ordering with a 20% discount!

 

How long will my order take to arrive?

Dispatch time

  •     We offer “ready to ship” collection boxes which are dispatched within 3 business days since your order was placed
  •     All other gift boxes and boxes with personalization are made-to-order after your purchase and our current production time 5-7 business days

 

Shipping time

CANADA:Canada post usually delivers 5-14 business days after the parcel has been dropped off and you received your shipping notification. Shipping to West coast Canada is faster than East Cost – we are in Vancouver, BC.

USA:USPS usually delivers your package 7- 14 business days after your parcel has been dropped off and you received your shipping notification.

 

How will I know when my order is shipped?

You will receive an email notification when your order is dispatched together with your tracking number. All our parcels are shipped with Canada Post service, and you will be able to track yours directly from your email notifications.

 

Where can I track my order?

Look for an email in your mailbox with a shipping notification from us – it will include your tracking number and you will be able to track your order directly from there.

 

My order is delayed, what should I do?

It’s ok! We make and dispatch every order on time and once it hits mail stream, speed is really out of our hands, but we use service which we had a great experience with over 10,000 packages so far! If your package doesn't arrive within 21 business days since you received your shipping notification, please let us know at myhandmadeweddingco@gmail.com, so we can file a claim for lost package. 

 

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we only ship to Canada and the United States. International shipping has been tricky since the pandemic and we strive to provide effortless delivery. We hope to reopen international shipping in future again.

 

Do you offer pick up?

At this time, unfortunately no – we work from our home studio and our business permit in our residential area does not allow that. If we expand one day to store location, we will make sure to offer pick up!

 

Can I change items in boxes shown on your website?

At this time, we are only offering well-thought-out combinations shown in our online gift boutique. We are hoping to bring in “build your own box” feature in the future. Stay tuned!

 

Do you accept returns?

If there is anything wrong with your order, please send us an email atmyhandmadeweddingco@gmail.com and we will see what we can do. We normally don’t accept returns for gift boxes, but we consider each customer individually and your satisfaction is paramount for us.
